About a minute per foot. No warm-up, nothing to charge. Here's the whole routine.

1. Glide along the arch (about 30 seconds)
Sit down and hold the stick like a pen. Place the rounded tip just in front of your heel and glide it slowly along the arch toward the ball of your foot. Use gentle, steady pressure. Do 5 to 10 slow passes.
2. Press and hold the sore spots (about 20 seconds)
Find a tender spot on the heel or in the arch. Press and hold for 5 to 10 seconds, then release. Repeat on 2 or 3 spots.
3. Small circles between the toes (about 10 seconds)
Make small circles in the gaps between your toes and across the ball of your foot.

When to use it
- In the morning: sit on the edge of the bed and do the routine before your first steps.
- In the evening: on the couch after a long day on your feet.
- Cold option: keep it in the freezer for 10 minutes first for a cooling massage.
Good to know
- The pressure should feel like a firm, good massage, never sharp pain. Start light and go deeper over a few days.
- Clean it with a damp cloth or a little soap and water.
- Don't use it on broken skin, open wounds, swelling or right after an injury.
- If you have diabetes, reduced feeling in your feet or a circulation problem, ask your doctor before using any foot massage tool.
- Solefloss is a self-massage tool, not a medical device. If foot pain doesn't go away, see a doctor or physical therapist.
